I don't have the money to upgrade my total speaker system at this time due to the cost of the basement remodel. Would it be worth getting the Monitor-50's now and upgrading the center speaker at this time and us the surrounds and woofer for now.
Here is a layout of the room with the 5.1 system. In this picture the chairs are about 12 feet from the wall. This picture is to scale also. I hope I post the picture correctly. I assume if I go with the 7.1 system the surround speakers would move closer to the chairs. 5_1 Room layout.jpg |
