Was hoping for SILVER BULLET since it's coming out in Germany.

The Strangers is such an awful ****ing movie. Wonder why they even bothered with that..

Will be getting...

SNDN (as long as it's uncut and a new transfer)
Matinee (if it looks as good as the Arrow disc)
Drag Me To Hell (if the extras are really good, never got the current Blu)
Misery (Never got the current Blu)

Two separate links for the two Darkman sequels? Not a double-feature? Good luck with that.

I could understand the two Poltergeist sequels being separate, Robocop as well as that is a big franchise even if #3 sucks, and gosh, even Teen Wolf as there are Jason Bateman fans who would buy the sequel. But how many Arnold Vosloo fans are there out there?

Actually, I think the film I'm most excited about checking out is PLAGUE DOGS.

Even the Darkman sequels are getting blu-rays?

This is a hell of a slate from the Shout Factory crew.

Since they didn't say anything about SOTL, Criterion or Kino Lorber are other bets of obtaining it.

Kino said "another label has it". I'm pretty almost positive that Criterion has it. They've released it before, they've even resurrecting OOP discs from the dead a lot lately, it's on FilmStruck WITH the Criterion logo. This makes sense.

Does the Filmstruck print have a new zooming MGM logo before the Orion card? And did the movie look as if the color timing matched the CC LD/DVD moreso than the MGM DVD/BD? If so, then its the new 4k master (real easy way to check if a MGM transfer is new or different if going by the MGM lions, no lion, new transfer. The older looking lion you see, the shitter the transfer may be).

Beats me. I can't afford FilmStruck. I bought enough shit I don't watch.

Did they just forget to put "Collector's Edition" on SNDN on the Facebook post?

All of the Comic Con announcements have been added to the database. Please update them accordingly.

P.S. Even though Shout is the parent company, why hasn't the "Scream Factory" studio been used for database entries?

Mantinee, silent night deadly night (glad i rented the AB bluray as it looks bad), Misery (don't have this one) and Cyborg CE sound great even Plague Dogs.

American Gothic is underrated and never had a DVD or blu-ray release, i'm glad.

I will certainly be interested in the Select titles, "Into the Night" and "The Plague Dogs". Scream title, "Eye of the Cat" sounds interesting. That's about it, for me. This was a very disappointing lineup to me.

I have no idea why they wouldn't make this a Collectors edition. Since it's a pretty big cult classic. Even though I'll only double dip if it's a newly restored unrated cut but still.

And how the hell isnt American Gothic a Collectors Edition, but the unnecessary crap like Misery and Drag me to Hell is? Makes no sense.
