Now, I'm not gonna lie, the choice to use Anthrax for that scene is.. interesting.. but I'm sure Muschietti didn't make that decision lightly, considering the importance of the scene. Listening to the song, I can see how it could work, I guess, but I'd like to think there's some "meaning" to it, other than, "hey, we're in the 80s now, so here's an Anthrax song." Or, hell, for all we know, the song was just a cool filler song in lieu of scoring that Benjamin Wallfisch had finished yet. Who knows. They could play "Who Let the Dogs Out" by Baha Men over the rockfight, and I wouldn't care, the movie will still be brilliant. |

I hope this is good, the trailer has me pumped. The news about the 2nd one is cool but I wish it was filming sooner. Oh well, at least it's being done.
as far as the title goes, IT: 27 Years Later |

In the book, that chapter is actually called 'The Apocalyptic Rockfight'. I think that since Henry Bowers and his cronies are all so mal-adjusted to being decent people, Anti-Social seems totally appropriate, or maybe it's just playing on Ritchie's radio in the background. Does anyone know if the film has both Belch Huggins and Patrick Hockstetter? I'd be surprised, as those two guys could easily be summed down to one big crazy weirdo in the film.
Edit: Also, does anyone else picture Peter Criss when reading Victor Criss' name? ![]() Last edited by frogmort; 07-25-2017 at 03:05 AM. |
