My order from the recent sale was seemingly lost by USPS. I contacted Twilight Time and they say that they won't replace the order. Am I being unreasonable in wanting to actually receive the items I paid for? My only other recourse is to eat the cost or file a PayPal dispute.

They even said that should I expect them to replace the order, they would rather not have me as a customer. This was a $70 order, but I've spent hundreds which them directly in the past and that amount again through Screen Archives on their titles. Really poor customer service on their part to my mind.

At the post office...reliability of the scan depends a lot on who is scanning the package.
The worst ones for this are the ARCs, weekend and holiday employees, which have no access to most technology even advanced scanners. A regular or a RCA won't scan unless they're at the destination...it takes less than 3 seconds with the new scanners. Cluster box scans are the worst since a less experienced fill-in employee can put the package in the wrong mail slot....usually, the regular will check the boxes and make sure scans which have not been picked up are in the correct locker or mail slot. |
