having a new plasma is a lot of work and a PS3 is a great choice for a blu ray player i have a stand alone sony blu ray player and a ps3 and the ps3 is far better in every way. youll also need to get your self a few HDMI cables to hook up your HD stuff. Now dont be fooled by the nice people at the stores you can get a great HDMI cable for under $5 on amazon that will give you the same quality as a $90 one from best buy or circuit city. heres a link to the HDMI cables i bought about 6 months ago.

and i also was tricked by the people at circuit city to get a 3 foot monster HDMI cable for $90 which i did. Then a year later i bought the one from the link above and theres no difference at all.

here are some good settings to use for the PZ85U.

You may or may not need to tweak them to account for your viewing environment, but these are settings you should be close too.

TomHuffman settings

...this guy is a Pro Calibrator, and he owns an 85u. This is the ideal settings he came up with, and should be close to perfect for you. But as I said, you may need to tweak to suit your viewing environment.

Also, turn "color management" OFF.

Pixel orbiter to "Force 1".
