Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that it will release two 4K Blu-ray Limited Edition Collections: Original Spider-Man Limited Edition Collection and Amazing Spider-Man Limited Edition Collection. The two sets will be available for purchase on October 17.

All five theatrical features across both collections are presented in full 4K resolution, presenting the full resolution, detail and color depth inherent in the original elements. 4K Blu-ray brings the full power of these restorations into the home, featuring four times the resolution of high definition, high dynamic range (HDR)–which produces brilliant highlights, vibrant colors and greater contrast on compatible displays. All five theatrical features are also presented with Dolby Atmos audio, creating an immersive soundscape for these action-packed blockbusters.

I know this wont help those looking just for TASM 1but Best Buy has a steelbook listed for all Spidey films including the original trilogy. Seems to be very similar to the blu-ray steelbook set that was release there earlier this year just in 4K. If the price is decent I will pick that up for sure

I don't see why can't SONY release all 5 Spider-Man films separated on 4K since I only want Amazing Spider-Man 1 and maybe Spider-Man 2 and for Spider-Man 1 I'm good with the Mastered in 4K Edition and they dropped the ball by not including the Editor's Cut of Spider-Man 3 in 4K UHD.

Hopefully they do get single releases in the future but for now I stick with the Blu-rays since I just bought the Digibooks and I still have the 2012 releases.

I don't like digibooks but doubt I can wait for Raimi's flicks. If the packaging is terrible I'll store them in the BD cases, like I do with Mummy.

There's also the BestBuy collection that has both the trilogy and duology in what is likely two jumbo steelbooks.

Not a fan of digibooks or Steelbooks (would've preferred seven-disc + five-disc amaray cases myself but alas, doubt those exist in UHD form yet) but I wager a Steelbook is better than a digibook, and a complete collection is nice.

There is one from Amazon Italy.
But personally, I'd wait for the US version. The Italian text at the back of the cover bothers me (just my OCD kicking in), and I'm not in a hurry to get this on 4K anyway. So I can wait.
