Anyone know how many copies of DK sold in 1st week in the US? - Blu-ray Forum

Hi all,

Does anyone know how many copies of The Dark knight were sold on Blu-ray in the US including the Limited Edition with Batpod, in the first week of release?

Or were I could find the info?

I don't think I've seen any US only numbers but hopefully they'll break it down for us sometime this week.

Well, considering that it sold over 600K on the first day alone, it could possibly surpass the 1M mark.

According to MaxPower, 1.5 million worldwide. I'm waiting for official figures. I'm going to assume it's right around the 1 m mark in America for first week.

1.5 million sounds great but yeah, hope 1 million of those were sold in the US. If the Matrix numbers were a hint, it looks like that is the case.

The 600K was for the US, Canada and the UK.

All i can say 60 millions has been spend on Dark Knight this week including other titles.have a look on home media thread.
