Marantz but there are other companies with high grades or very good remarks or reviews such as: accuphase/coda/legacy/wavevac/vincent/luxman and mcintosh with many others as well.

Is carver back producing for the consumer market again ?

Sunfire, McIntosh, Pass, BAT (always good but out of my range), Krell, and Mark Levinson.

As you see from my signature - I have a soft spot for the old Yamaha M series amps also!

My favorite processor / preamp company is Lexicon. I think their Logic 7 algorithm is fantastic. Unfortunately Lexicon hasn't released anything in a while so no TrueHD or DTS-MA decoding and their stuff has gotten way too expensive.

The following is a list of my amplifiers:
  • One 6 channel Cinepro 6-channel amplifier.
  • Three Carver stereo amps.
  • Two Carver preamps.
  • One Pyramid preamp.
  • One Proton stereo amp.
  • Two Behringer stereo amps.
  • Two DBX subwoofer amps.
  • One Pyle Pro Amp.
My favorite is the Cinepro. It is a monster and requires two people to carry it.

Well I have a Pass Labs amp so that is a given. Otherwise I would like to look into Lamm, Vitus, MBL, BAT, Audio Research, Bryston, Boulder, GamuT, and even an Outlaw Audio mono block amp for my center channel. A lot of great amps out there.

Processors I would like to see Lexicon, Anthem and more.

One day................. hopefully.

Thumbs up I have had alot of separates but now..

I currently have (5) NAD power amps but my next upgrade will likely be the Outlaw Audio 7 channel 300 watt per channel balanced power amp that requires (2) 15 amp electrical circuits to feed that monster amp! I like my NAD amps but you can not beat the quality and price of the Outlaw Audio products.

Are you on commission from OUTLAW ? I like my Totem speakers, but I don't mention them in every post! And I haven't even even touched on the other stuff I've owned over the years.

Nobody forgets about Krell. The problem is that nobody can afford Krell. The biggest Krell fanatic in the world is Fabio, the model. Remember him. His pictures used to be on the cover of most romance novels. Read about his gear:
