Square Enix: 360 Easier To Program For Than PS3

I could be wrong, but how is the Unreal 3 engine archiac?

I was under the impression that Metal Gear Solid 4; the best looking game on the PS3 to this point, is using the UR3 engine.

The only funny thing is that people blame the 360 and not Square for the Last Remnant being stupid. They say that if it was on the PS3 it would have been a better game. This is not true. Square made a crap game. It happens to all developers a few times.

Don't worry, FFXIII will be out for the PS3 soon.

Metal Gear 4 , best looking game on PS3 now ? Wow, you haven't seen Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, Heavenly Sword and Devil May Cry 4 ? Those games show the true potential of the PS3.

And where did you hear that, games that I know that use the unreal engine is Bioshock, and some very highly loved games but I never heard of mgs using it...

I'm pretty sure it was an in-house engine that was used. I couldn't find any other info...interestingly MGS4 tapped out the limits of the Cell, haven't played it yet, but adding to my wishlist.

You would be under the wrong impression. MGS4 did not use the UE3, but Kojima's own in house engine.

He's only half wrong. There are some awesome games utilizing the UR3 engine. Gears 2 for one is a stellar game with beautiful graphics AND really great physics.

You made me spit my water on my desk with this miss information, Konami has a proprietary engine for metal gear solid 4. They DID not use the crappy unreal engine, actually TLR uses the unreal engine which again proves my point about square being 'lazy'
