I haven't played LBP but I have a condition called jumpidous where I jump too far or not far enough which can cause hysteria and broken controllerus thus LBP would never be on my list.

Thats a joke of a list. GTA IV wouldnt even be in my top 10 let alone number 2.

this list needs some work, but its actually much better than time magazine's (although LBP got snubbed and why isnt' SSBB or Mario Kart Wii on there???)

oh fiddlesticks what will take that place...

I only own a pc and a ps3 and could only rate
games I actually own.. so I did not have such
an extensive library...

You know maybe tomorrow ill upload the picture
of my home theater so people will have something
to laugh at... so that the bar of lowness may be
set in which people can point and go at least mines
not as bad as dk3dknights...

ahaha...I only own a PS3 and don't play games on my computer...

but I know how great Fable and Gears of War 2 are...

it's tough coming with a top 10 without knowing so many games off the top of the head..

I assumed the rule would be games that we have or at least played, my close friends hate Microsoft with such deep passion that they uninstalled windows xp off there towers and only allow there family and love ones to run it through a virtual machine.

My other friends have computers with vista which has brought them over to a deep hatred of microsoft after several of there critical applications don't work and some specific love one wiped xp for vista...

So I don't think I would find many friends who would allow me to see Gears of War, through i've played the lost chapters of Fable on pc, it was good but far from perfect in my opinion... deep but also shallow if that makes sense, you had control but things I wanted to control were not there..

Why could you not pursue a relationship with your childhood friend why did she need to disappear into nonexistence..? Because you defeated her that is kinda silly and felt like that could have been a nice co op moment, a extra hero by your side... and a possible deep relationship, they way they conducted that seemed like shallow story telling...

Anyway moving on...

I just thought up a new game idea what do yall think.. Dynasty Warriors: Sailor Moon. rofl

Actually better idea how about Dynasty Warriors: Final Fantasy
Square actually had there own line of DW games...

OK, so I rethought this, and I'm gonna try to make an unbiased list here.

1. Gears of War 2 -- just sold like crazy and is now the #1 game for XBOX (as much as i hate to put it above MGS4)
2. Metal Gear Solid 4 -- for obvious reasons
3. GTAIV -- the best multiplat selling game has to be on here, as much as i hate it
4. Fallout 3 -- multiplat hit
5. LittleBigPlanet -- only thing keeping this from top 3 is sales
6. Mario Kart Wii -- best game on the Wii
7. Fable 2 -- huge seller for 360 and a great game
8. Super Smash Bros Brawl -- was overhyped, but was hyped so much that it cannot be ignored but since it was earlier in the year it is often forgotten
9. Call of Duty W@W -- sure it didn't do much from COD4, but it still sold great
10. Prince of Persia -- sneaks in as the dark horse game of the year. my heart wanted to put Valkyria Chronicles, but its just too unknown as of yet, and the multiplat PoP gives it another edge on VC.

seems pretty fair to me. 2 exclusives from each system, and i even gave the #1 spot to those green punks!

Now would you to know my friends love ones explanation for installing vista over xp...

They preferred vista's wallpapers and screen savers... -_-

My computer actually is a very old computer its greatest function is actually playing good games from the past, like Battlezone, heavy gear, homeworld, etc..

And emulating old snes and nes games as my nes and snes have died...

My ps3 is my only window into new games, and my pc remains my window to the past.

Yup. Pretty stupid because the majority consensus regarding COD is that COD4 > COD WAW. At least on all the online forums I'm on. So if COD is on the list at all it should be COD4.

I could live with your list (even though i don't own an Xbox or the associated games), except... the two changes I would make, would be to bump Prince of Persia up one to 9, and drop Call of Duty: W@W in favour of Resistance 2

I'm on my third playthrough of Resistance 2, due to...

1) Launch PS3 shutting down during a file save, corrupting the data (said PS3 will be shipped for repairs in Jan 09.

2) New PS3 freezing at the end of playthrough 2, while HDD was being accessed resulting in another corrupted save file.

Each time I've played through this game in pursuit of the Campaign trophies, I find myself really enjoying the story. Assuming, nothing bad happens to my save file on this 3rd playthrough, I'll still need to attempt the Superhuman difficulty, and I find my appreciation for this game is really growing, not to mention the fact that Co-op is some of the most fun I've had online.

Resistance 2 deserves a spot in the top 10 IMO.
