Saw IT as my first movie. I don't envy the person who has to run their social media accounts. There's no way this lasts the full year in its current form. At the very least, they should change the terms back to no repeat viewings before Star Wars premieres in December. In fact, if you're enjoying MoviePass, you should hope they make some changes to it real quick. They're gonna get destroyed if they leave it as it is.
It was eerie how easily it was to check in and buy a ticket. ![]() ![]() |

I referred MoviePass to my cousin a full week and a half after I ordered mine the day of the announcement. My cousin has had his for almost a month. I haven’t got mine yet. He just let me hold his just so I could confirm it’s real.

And expect plenty of cancellations if they do.

Everyone keeps talking about how they think MoviePass needs to change their rules to be more restrictive or that they expect them to very soon.
Do you really think they didn't expect people to see movies in the first couple weeks? or see movies like Star Wars multiple times? They already expect this. They knew exactly what they were doing when they started this. They know they're losing money right now. But it's part of their long-term plan. If it works out, great. If not, we enjoy it while it lasts. |

I dont have it yet but I need some advanced preparation and would appreciate the help. So when I get to the theater I just "Check in" and use my card as payment but dont need to go the box office to get my tickets? Where exactly do I get the tickets from?

That’s right, you click your showtime and “check in”. Then you pay at either the box office or kiosk, same as any normal transaction. Whichever you prefer.
