Same here.... I can't live without seeing the trailers....

Just love it when the concession people say you still have 20 mins , and I give them the look that they have less than 2 mins to live lol.

See I was wondering this as well. I keep getting people saying you can only see it once then you have to see a different movie. I'm like...I'd like a straight answer before I sign up. Then after hearing how people aren't getting their cards for like a month because of the influx still making me wait before I pull the trigger.

Yes, you definitely can see a movie as many times as you want. They *used to* have a stipulation about not seeing a movie more than once, but that restriction was removed as part of their recent overhaul.

And as far as waiting, pulling the trigger now at least gets you in line. If you wait until they are all caught up to even get in the line, you will be waiting even longer.

Yeah, now's a good time to sign up if you haven't if you plan to see Star Wars multiple times so the card can arrive in time for that, along with awards contenders. You might even get it before Thor: Ragnarok or Justice League.

I can't seem to find a definitive answer on this, so I thought I'd post here and ask those who have used the MoviePass service:

My local theatre (which was just bought by Regal) has a section of the theatre that's reserved, reclining, seats for patrons 21+ years old, tickets are $14 matinee and $16 evening. Will MoviePass work for those? I've seen a sort of vague answer about it still working with reserved seating, while showing a picture of AMC's Dine-In Theatres.

Not that this still isn't a good deal if it doesn't support those, but I guess I've grown accustomed to paying a little extra to reserve my seat in a nice electric recliner (that is also heated--for when it's cold outside). I'm still definitely considering signing up for this regardless, because it's obvious this would pay for itself either way.

You can still go to a theater with reserved seating. The restriction is that you can't buy tickets to a showing that is on any other day.

You can go in the morning and buy a reserved seat for that night. Or you can go 10 minutes before the screening and buy a reserved seat.

There are also restrictions though for special screenings like 3D, IMAX, D-Box, etc. I dunno if your reserved seats count as that at the theater (one of my nearby ones has reserved recliners and are just considered normal seats), but if they're the same cost as a normal ticket and have no upcharge then it should be fine.

This is where it's kind of a grey area. Yes, they have tweeted that you can see a movie more than once and many people have doneso without consequence (yet)-- however, they never updated their T&Cs since the price change to reflect this. I could see a scenario where if they ever become desperate to drop high-volume users, they could say you've violated the T&Cs which you're bound by and disavow what they've tweeted. T&Cs > A tweet on their social media.

I think it has more to do with what is normal at the theater you are attending. I.E. if they have some "premium" showings separate from the regular tickets, Moviepass won't cover. But if the whole theater is reserved premium seating then moviepass covers that basic ticket and your fine.

Example: My AMC is all reserved, premium reclining chairs for 12.50 per showing. Moviepass covers it, but if I want the even more premium Dolby showing it won't cover the $15 price tag.

So if your theater just has single premium theaters and regular theaters, you probably won't see the premium showing as a showing that can even be checked into.

Are these their own separate auditoriums, or just a section of seats in the regular auditoriums?
If it is a separate screen that will have its own showtimes and tickets, it should work. However if within a regular screen there are higher priced tickets for special seats, then it probably wouldn't work as it would just load the price of a standard ticket for that showtime onto your card.

Ah, well they are not the same cost as the regular stadium seating theatres. Those seats are a few dollars cheaper.

Just couldn't find anything definitive, and MP was defining "standard" as anything not IMAX/3D/Festival/D-Box/etc., which to my knowledge the 21+ section of the theatre (called "Warren 21") wasn't any of those (admittedly, I don't know what 'D-BOX' is though), so I was continuing to be in the dark on this.

They are their own separate screens/auditoriums (it used to be called 'Warren 21' when the theatres were operating under the Warren Theatre banner, now that Regal has acquired them they're under the Regal banner). Matinee tickets in regular stadium seating auditoriums are $7, evening tickets are $10; and then there's a "Grand Balcony Auditorium" where matinee tickets are $7.50 and evening tickets are $10.50 (to sit in the balcony of this theatre, tickets are $14 during matinee and $18 in evening); Warren 21 (as it was formerly known as) tickets are $12 matinee and $16 evening.

I know it seems like a jumbled mess, sorry

Ok you can see multiple showtimes, but can I sleep at the theater, shower there and eat breakfast for free from the snack bar?

I think it may have to do with the price comparisons to other nearby theaters from the same chain.

For instance with the AMC which has had recliners for a few years now and charges more per ticket than other AMCs, the theater just didn't appear on my app at all (not on the list of nearby theaters, nor will it show up if I click on showtimes for a film playing there). Though the other AMC which went to recliners fairly recently and doesn't charge more than regular seating AMCs (I hear they usually have a 1-2 year grace period before raising ticket prices when they install premium seating) does appear normally- with the one understandable exception that it's IMAX screen showtimes are greyed out.

Also, the regular seating City Cinemas theaters show up in the app (and I've used moviepass there successfully), but their one, more expensive, reclining seating theater also is completely absent in the app.
