I've owned my Kuro Elite Pro-111FD for 5 or 6 weeks now. I am doing a break-in by watching movies and running the break-in DVD. I have not had any problems so far but I do notice a little IR from the Pioneer logo displayed by the BD player while the DVD is loading. It lasts for a few seconds.

This is a really great flat panel. The level of detail the PIO Kuro's are able to display are amazing.

I will reach 100 hours of break-in after a before Christmas and then I plan to load DNICE's (AVS Forum) ISF settings. At some point in early spring I will have it professionally calibrated.

I just added back lighting and that really helps too (see HT Gallery).

I've been saving since the start of October & won't be able to purchase my 111FD or 101FD until the end of March 2009.

The wait will be WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recieved my pro-151 the first week of july and its been wonderful.When you watch a bd like the dark knight you really get your money worth.
