I am simply a fan of the movie and the technology implemented in it. Hope the mods will clean up the garbage. |

I have deleted all my messages here that had nothing to do with the movie, so I don't care about that.

I think many found thos movie boring because they were expecting more battle scenes. But this is more about psycholigical warfare rather than physical wafrae. I didnt quite get it the first time around, but on my second watch I got it. It touches different topics, including propaganda in the US and approval rating manipulation by politicians. I feel that HFR here is used appropiately, and even the director said that HFR works really good in this type of drama with not so mamy action sequences |

Personally, I much prefer it over 'War for the Planet of the Apes'.

I liked this film enough to shell out £39 to buy the UHD + 3D Blu version I found on Amazon because I really wanted to see the 3D version after purchcasing the standard UK UHD + Blu-ray edition, and I couldn't find a standlone 3D verion anywhere. It was on Amazon for just under £40 from Amazon reseller Prime Steelbooks
Just got back from the two hour walk to the sorting office (it needed to be signed for and I wasn't home yesterday when they tried to deliver) to find they've sent the standard UK UHD + 2D version I've already got. I'm absolutely fuming about the wasted time and wasted money. How can any reseller justify this asking price for a title available for about half the price from every other reseller. Needless to say I will not ever be using Prime Steelbooks again and will be using the Amazon escalation process to complain and try and get a refund. Does anybody know if the UHD+3D version exists somewhere or is the screenshot they used to sell me the defunct product a UHD combination release that got cancelled before release? Thanks for the info.
I have now had a reply from Prime Steelbooks who genuinely seen to be mortified at the error and have been very apologetic for sending out the wrong item. The correct item is being posted and they have given me £8 compensation for the error, which I think is generous. I can use it to return the original copy (which they didn't ask me to do) and the correct copy is apparently being posted today which will enable me to sell off my original copy (not purchased from them) too. |

Yeah, I should probably have checked them but there are only so many hours in a day and I've had so many issues with American deliveries over the years (either through long delays and shipping times or through finding it far more expensive to return when it arrives damaged) I usually buy British.
But, yeah, it was a bit of an impulse buy and for that low of a price I should have taken the risk with a US supplier. |

Just tried watching this and it was the first UHD I couldn't even force myself to finish. The movie itself wasn't particularly interesting, but man, that framerate...All I can say is that I hope we don't see much more of this 60fps stuff in the future.
