Default How long does it take to get to your nearest movie theater?

Just out of curiosity how much time do you spend traveling to get to your nearest movie theater? My nearest is about 15 minutes away with little traffic.

Closest one is about 10 minutes away with traffic, why I biked there when I didn't have a car. Then about 2.5 miles and 3.5 miles, so the local ones aren't too bad.

Before: nearest Regal was 10 minutes or less
Now: new AMC is 5 minutes, 2-3 blocks away

Once I move into my new house, the cinemas in this area will be 20 - 30 minutes drive.

I swear, every single place I live in, the theater is always 30 minutes away from me. Can't ever seem to live close enough to one.

I have 4 within 5-10 minutes (an AMC, an Alamo Drafthouse, a Regal, and I forgot what the last one is), but my preferred theater (a Cinemark) is about 20 minutes away. The tickets are cheap, the seats are recliners that you have to reserve, and the equipment is top notch.

About 22 minutes or so by car. I live in a small town, so I have to drive a bit to a larger town.

The nearest movie theater is roughly 5, 10 minutes from where I live, but I never go there. It sucks (the floor is much too leveled, so any slightly tall or hooded person who sits in front of you blocks the view) and they only play dubbed stuff.

Shit if I lived that close to the Alamo I would be there every Friday night for dinner. Nearest Alamo to me is 45 mins away.

Well, to get to the one that we prefer, probably around 20 minutes. Unfortunately it is down by the water and people drag it out to double that. Still, it is a nice theater in the area. So I'm hoping it stays that way. It is a nice drive once I get off the freeway.

Less than a 5 min drive. AMC 20. Always a major pro before the days of reserved on-line seating. Now, it’s pure convenience. And we finally have the new recliners 1 month new!

Regal 13-screen with RPX and the full-size recliners in every auditorium.

15 minute walk, less than 5 minute drive.
