Sorry, 1.07 has been out for a few days already. People were talking about it in this thread on December 20th.

Playing community levels gives me a LOT of crap in my community objects. Random worthless stuff.
I've had the message once, but even though I was getting it, my level still saved like normal and everything worked fine.
Seems like community pictures takes up the most space, I cleared that up, now I have 6 levels in my moon and I still haven't gotten the message.

does anyone know if the sony eye toy for the PS2, works with the PS3? Need to know cause just bought 2 of them for $5. Im bought them cause i heard that it does...i want to use it for my LBP

yes they do work.. just get lower resolutions.. and no mic.. but it works.

The message only applies for community items (objects other people made, photos, etc). Costumes/objects made by Media Molecule have unlimited storage, so any DLC you download (costumes, stickers, etc.) won't fill up your limited server space. I used to get the message all the time, so I just went through all the community objects I accumulated, and deleted the crappy ones (about 99% of them). Eventually I'll have to do it again, when it fills back up.

That's not quite correct toefer. The message tells you it can not save your profile and to delete some files in your "My Photos, My Objects, My Levels, and My Costumes." That's all "MY" stuff, why can't I keep it?!

If it was only related to community objects I'd be fine. Like we've all agreed - most of them are cr@p. I only have 6 objects in mine from the community.

I got this message after building my level for a while - went to save it and couldn't. That is crazy - I was basically stuck until I could delete enough stuff to be able to save all the stuff I tweaked on my new level.

Why should I have to delete ANYTHING from "My Levels"? I have a 250 gig hard-drive - surely MM could use some of that space.

And what's the point of having SHARING if it impairs my game - and even blocks me from being able to save levels I'm creating after while.

I have had to delete copied levels from my moon - pictures I took or that got taken of me in people's levels - objects I won and/or made (captured).

There are severe limitations that are making it a real pain in the @ss to work with this game. I'm close to calling it a day and just going back to Warhawk. At least, when I win a new costume - I don't have to choose an old one to delete.

(Sorry everyone, I'm a bit frustrated. I just want to play the game. Instead, I'm wrestling with it and it's just put a damper on the whole thing. Between the limitations and the glitches destroying/creating hours of work - I'm close to putting this game on the shelf.)

@CYMBOL, how much stuff do you have? I have a LOT of community stuff, and 6 levels which are all quite big (more then 75% of the thermometer each) on my moon and I've downloaded all the free costumes from PSStore along with a couple premium ones and I don't get the message.

In all practicality I can't see how anyone would have that much stuff in their objects/pictures that they ACTUALLY want to keep.

Oh, well yeah. I was just trying to distinguish between user-created stuff and official add-on content that Mm provides.

I think Mm should definitely implement some sort of secretive way of getting more server space. That way they don't have to worry about adding server space for every account, but can limit it to people who ask for it (and maybe are even deemed by Mm to need it, upon reviewing their account).

How many objects do you have in My Objects?

The costume pieces from the PSStore don't count against your space. Only custom costumes you save in your pop-it take up your space.

I'm also curious about how much stuff he has saved. I assume it's quite a bit. I have 4 levels, 3 of which are over 75%, and two of those are maxed out. On top of that, I have copies of each of those 4 placed on my moon (for a total of 8 levels) and haven't had any problems in a while (since deleting most of the community objects).

I think the "My costumes" only refers to saved combos you have - so it's not like you are losing the items to create that costume set or anything. Though if you have a lot of saved costumes that have unique sticker decorations, those also apply (like the joker or spidey costumes we see all the time) - if you made one of those and put the time into it, you probably want to keep that. (and it will take up some sort of space)

I have about 6 community objects (all small things). I have about 12 captured objects - and 4 saved costumes - only one was my own design with stickers (my Superman costume).

I have 5 levels - four are scrapping the top of the themometer (I have two I was about to publish till it glitched and unglued everything on the bottom floor (and some of the second).

I actually deleted some of my copies. I had one full copy - and then I was using the new "Save As" function - but that doesn't help if it counts against how much I can utilize anyway. Ugh!

Yeah, but still - the idea/promise of LBP was unlimited creativity - now I have to pick and choose my creations. I had 8 costumes I had put together, and even though most of them were from game provided items - I took the time to mix and match and place stickers - so why can't I keep it?

I REALLY hope they are working this issue. One more big glitch and/or not being to save a level I am working on (which is complete cr@p) - and I think I'm done. This game is too time consuming to put up with this kind of stuff. It is still new - so, I'll give it a few more weeks. Let's hope they are working on it.

Talk about a fumbled touchdown pass this game has turned out to be for Sony....how sad...I really like this game too....so many things they could have done different that could have turned out better for them...

Well I like it. There are some small problems, but all in all I think the game is great, and it did great too.

It's still very early in the release time-frame - so, I'll give them another chance. They nailed 95% of what the game promised and the only glaring issue is the restrictions on creating and sharing.

However, MM listened and changed the search issues and fixed a few other glitches fairly quickly, so - I'm willing to wait another couple of weeks to see if they can inch closer to what was promised.

Right now, it's like they gave us a blank paper and the greatest set of crayons, paints and tools - but then informed us we could only use half the piece of paper. If they can broaden that just a little, it will help out tremendously.

Yeah, I've been dealing with it for a while off and on. I delete items - then I play a few levels and get a few photos taken or win objects and I have to delete more.

But now it's affecting my abitilty to create things too.

I didn't realize I was going to have to start picking and choosing what objects I kept.
