Default Woolies Blu BLOWOUT - 60% off! Lovely Jubbly!

Just returned from my local Woolies store in Ashford, they're now getting rid of their remaining Blu Rays from the shelves. I just picked up Indiana Jones, Wall-E, Dark Knight for 7.97 each along with the 4 Batmans for 8.98 each and wait for it Band of Brothers and Matrix Trilogy for 11.98 each. I think I must have saved a fortune!

Wth?! Woolies? -- Damn, $7.97 for those, plus BOB & Matrix Trilogy's for $11.98 on BLU-RAY?!

I live on the East Coast, where are they, & do they do Online Sales? Nice find & Serious Savings!

** WAIT - Did you mean "Woolworth's" ? Lol. I hope they're still some stores in the States at those prices! **

For those of us who don't speak in colloquial british terms, "Woolies" is Woolworths which just went under and that is why they are clearing their shelves off - right before they close all their stores on January 5th. Their website is no longer working due the eminent closing of the stores.

Finally! About the only thing not shifting off the shelves were the Blu-rays since with the 10% they initially had, they were still more expensive than sendit and play !!

Might pop along on boxing day.

I wonder if Zavvi will be having a stock clearance sale now they've gone in to administration too.

Gosh that's really good going!!! It's a real shame about Woolies but it's was a treck to my local one anyway so it's not as if I went in regularly. Still, it would have been great to get some bargains like that

I went in today and there was nothing left at all! I'm surprised they weren't selling the shelving - there was plenty of those around hehe

I went into a larger store (kingston) and they had nothing left!!

Managed to pick up The X Files, and No Country For Old Men with 50% off each in a smaller store.
