This has been my experience as well. And one reason why I don't worry about selecting Media Mail as an option from them.

You all do realize that these low quantity emails we all received are only Twilight Time’s own site’s stock don’t you? Most of their stock is at SAE’s site and judging from the last group of posts it seems like everyone thinks the numbers are the total quantities available. TT’s site sells out much quicker because they keep so little of their product there.

I'm a fan myself and have purchased all of the classic era TT 3D releases other than Gun Fury.

The hesitation is the multitude of reports about audio sync problems. Has this been addressed?

Yeah, I'd be shocked if "Gun Fury", even with as many fans of classic 3D films as there are, moved even close to 3000 copies in a couple of months. What was the last TT disc to sell out in a couple of months? You'd probably have to go back 3 or 4 years ago. I'll bet SAE has a lot of copies on hand.

I finally got my shipping notice from SAE today. I haven't tried ordering from TT as I thought SAE was the closest to me ... it appears TT ships from WA, is that correct ?

Yes there is a synch problem in the second half of the film – but it is a compatibility problem that depends on what player you watch the film. Seen on my Sony UHP-H1 (an extremely glitch-prone and overpriced model I wouldn’t recommend to anyone unless I seriously disliked them) it’s noticeable but could be easily corrected by adjusting the audio synch on my TV settings, though obviously not every TV set has that option. However, played in my Panasonic DMP-BDT180 and it’s a different story, with the film playing in synch throughout.

My order of GIDGET from TT is shipping from the state of Texas, FWIW.

SAE has also received the new TT titles as well (at least GIDGET and BANANAS).

Another solid line up of films. Fourth month in a row we get a Woody Allen title. I'm anxious to see Harry & Walter again. I don't think I have seen it since the late 70's.

Exciting ones. Not sure if the latter had ever been released on DVD.

Really good month, probably one of the most exciting in a while. I haven't seen "Harry and Walter Go to New York", but the other three are exceptional, with "Manhattan Murder Mystery" being one of Allen's best of the 90s and the other two being terrific under the radar gems. Great slate of releases IMO.

The Incident has been a highly-requested home video title for years.

At the time it was the straw that nearly broke the camel's back, a massive flop that topped a run of big flops their few hits weren't big enough to pay for at a time when Columbia was looking at the possibility of winding down their theatrical division and just concentrating on TV and music instead until a tax shelter group of German dentists and a British arms company came to their rescue and part-funded their slate. At the time they expected it to be their big hit of the year but these days it's never really talked about.

It’s a fun comedy heist movie with a great cast. I’m excited about this announcement. All of them in fact. Only four this month though, didn’t it used to be five? Is it one less now that their deal with MGM is over?
