I felt like over all, this movie had a soft look to it.

However, the parts where
[Show spoiler]Clark fought the Justice League, and when Superman showed up to fight Stepphenwolf
, that the screen brightened up and was clearer . A bit sharper. Maybe those were parts Whedon filmed?

Either way, I'm sure this movie will be an HDR delight.

The original photography (the stuff that Snyder shot) was shot on 35mm film, while the Whedon footage was shot on the Alexa 65. If you look closely, you can tell which format was used in a given shot since they didn't add grain to the Alexa footage. This likely accounts for the difference in clarity, especially since Whedon reshot basically all of Superman's scenes.

Suicide Squad 4/10
Wonder Woman 7/10
Justice League 2/10 a genuinely uncomfortable film experience for me. I don't think I've ever hated any superhero movie until today. Like those Schumacher Batman movies from the 90s are still kinda funny in a so bad it's good way.
Same situation with me.
I love The Dark Knight Trilogy & Watchmen - They are both in my top 10 favourite films ever.

Man of Steel I'd give 9/10,
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (Ultimate Edition) I'd give 8/10
Wonder Woman 7/10 probably (only seen it the once so far)

Justice League I absolutely hated beyond words, I'd give it 4/10 being generous. I was either cringing or had a scowl on my face the whole way through. Not exaggerating in the slightest. I even had my mouth open in disgust at some of it (the alien probe joke for one)
It just does not fit with the other movies in this universe at all. In the words of Alfred "I don't recognize this world"

Praying for the Snyder Cut, which actually if you go y the right sources and add everything up seems to be mostly complete. 150,000 signatures on the petition, people are pissed.

Actually, the Batman opening is Whedon's and it is shot on 35mm film, so I don't know if he was too fu cking lazy to shoot all the reshoots that way or if he's just a hack

I wonder if we get two different versions (Zack Snyder version) of this movie when it comes out? Or maybe just a extended version along with the theater version?

A Synder cut probably won't happen for 20 years like the Superman II Donner cut.

Considering the movie is set to lose an estimated $50-$100 million for WB, there's no chance they'll pay to finish the VFX for a Snyder cut.

It won't. Its best chances are already behind it. Everything is full steam ahead for Star Wars now.

It really won't. The film has only grossed $570 million worldwide. It needs another $200 million at least to break even. With Star Wars out next week it's not going to do it; Star Wars is going to cut it's legs worldwide. It still hasn't outgrossed the opening weekend for the first Avengers domestically.

Dude, I was thinking the same thing after seeing JL the other day. Give it a decade or two, when people might actually look back fondly upon these first DCEU and what they were trying to do, and we may well get a Donner situation all over again with JL.

So the movie costs $300 million and marketing is around $470 million?
Damn.....
