AV Club's worst films of the year

I thought The House was alright. Given the cast it could've been better, but I didn't think it belonged on any type of "Worst Movies of 2017" list.

That list confirms that I've done a good job of missing many of the worst (or considered worst) films of the year but I have seen enough to know that The House is waaaaaaaaaaay too high on there, in fact that shitshow is much worse than the likes of Geostorm, Flatliners 7 The Snowman.

Only ones I've seen are Rings and Bye Bye Man, and yeah, they belong on this list.

Only one I saw was Geostorm. Twice in theaters, already ordered the Blu. Love a good "bad movie", especially an fx-heavy disaster flick. Worst thing I saw this year was easily that Transformers abomination...

Wow, like with all "worst of" lists, I saw the headline and was all ready to argue that they were going for the obvious picks, some of which I enjoyed. But as it turns out, I don't really disagree with anything on that list (though I haven't seen all of them).

As I said before, the only one I saw (I think) was Amittivile which was OK. It wasn't great or anything. But it was a decent movie.

Seriously, if that's in their worst 20 movies of the year, then they didn't see many films. I mean, say what you want about it, but it was hardly that bad.
