So frustrating. I never even got a response, just this. Thy could at least say they saw the problem and are collecting the rest. Sorry you haven’t heard anything, maybe just check your card every few days to see if they charged you. Only advice I got at this point.

You know my Debit card is starting to mess up with the chip read and the stripe so I might have to get a new one but after reading posts here I am kinda worried that it may be difficult to update the card information on the app if I get a new card.

Mine doesn't even have a chip but I've had 0 issues so far with swiping aside from the declined funds on Sunday. We'll see how it goes Saturday-Monday.

I think he was talking about having to replace the card that he used to pay for his MoviePass. If his bank sends him a new one with a new number, he is going to have to get ahold of Movie Pass to change the billing info. I would think that most banks would be able to issue a replacement card, due to the old one being worn out, that has the same number on it, since it wasnt a case of fraud or theft.

But a good point on the Movie Pass card. Mine has an expiration in 2024 so I put it in a protective sleeve to try and protect the mag stripe as much as I can.

Not sure if it was because of my repeated emails, or if this is something that sent out to lots of people because it was a widespread problem, but apparently my annual subscription is finally getting fixed. Just got this:

Today I received an email from movie pass, a survey. Basically asking how many 3D, Imax 2D/Imax 3D films I saw this year and how much more I would pay for a premium service that included that all.


Guess they are going to take feedback from everyone to see how much ppl are willing to pay. Maybe start rolling out with it next year.

Yeah got that one too. lol

I went to Cinemark to see Downsizing last night, they have the 2018 refillable Cups and Tubs now. And they raised the price from last year. Ended up getting them only because I have moviepass.

Otherwise I would have passed on it, having MP has been fantastic.
