Well Snyder didn't direct the reshoots with the mustache. WB apparently did CGI tests with adding the mustache and it looked great. Paramount told them to f*** off, and the rest is on the screen. I think he looks like Adam Baldwin in the open scene.

Zack Snyder had nothing to do with the reshoots he left the project because his daughter died during post production so they got Joss Whedon the director of Avengers Age Of Ultron and the rest is history.

Well why couldn't Whedon have had him put flesh colored makeup over it?

Come on, that would've been just as obvious as the unconvincing removal.

Because more than likely people on boards like these would say, “why didn’t they just try and remove it with CGI”.

This may be the first DCEU movie I don’t buy on Blu-ray. It just didn’t feel like a competent movie to me, rather it felt like a hodgepodge of poorly directed scenes. Suicide Squad was more competent. Maybe I’ll have a change of heart, but I’ll see about that.

I'm really hoping there is a Target digibook exclusive like the other recent live action DC films.

mmmm i wouldn't say that SS was more competent, but JL was such a disappointment

Oh, I would.

When it comes to story and characters, I prefer Justice League to Suicide Squad, but I actually think Suicide Squad is quite a bit more competently made. Both films suffer from flaws, possibly as a result of studio tampering, and maybe they are basically on the same level with each other when you start comparing all the pros and cons of each film against each other, but when it comes down to the poor CGI aspects of Justice League (yes, the mustache cover-up, too) and the rushed editing, you can't help but see a more competent level of consistency in the quality of Suicide Squad over Justice League. Studio interference aside, I think it's obvious that Suicide Squad is the product of one director, while Justice League is clearly a mishmash of two directors.

Digital release looking like 1/23/18
Source:

Presumably that would put BD release at 2/6/18 based upon previous early Digital releases.

literally 2017 was my biggest disappointment for films in a long time... Justice League, The Last Knight, and The Last Jedi. The latter being even worse but dang was it a bad year. Not sure how these two films could be so bad. I'm still not planning on getting JL unless it's a snyder cut or at least a longer version since they cut like an hour out of the film.

Looks like the Blu-ray is coming out on March 13th and the Best Buy steelbook cover has been revealed apparently.

Still think it's going to be coming out on February 13 because the digital release is so early.
