Best Buy is always excellent with their customer service and I've never had a steelbook missed their due to employee error. Or had to wait for it to be put on the floor.
Really? I usually have problems the other way around, lol. My Target is usually very good about having copies on the floor, while I've gone to BB several times on my lunch hour on a movie's release date, and they still didn't have copies stocked in front.

you would be surprised they probably noticed it was making it more difficult to fit the movies into clamshells and some employee tossed them

The employees around here seem to enjoy jamming them into the coffins causing as much damage as possible. Thankfully the 2 copies here were up front and not in coffins.

I wouldn't be surprised by either someone stealing all the slips or employees trashing them. Either one sucks, esp. since they used the less cool image of the lenticular on the inlay. Buncha savages were you live paustin!

So, let's see those Target postcards, it will help me decide which to keep or if I make a custom job out of the 2 releases. I could swap the dvd from the Target with the 4K BB and sell the steel as the BD only version if the swag is worth doing that.

Okay, so I went to Target to see if they had any exclusives with the lenti cover, and they had a couple, but looked pretty banged up. Didn't look as nice, so I passed, but I noticed something different about them from yours in that picture. Yours with the blue stripe banner across the top of the cover only features the blu-ray logo, but the ones at my Target had the blue stripe with "Blu-ray + DVD + Digital (with the expiration date)" printed across the top. It also looks like your lenticular image reaches all the way out to the edges of the front of the slipcover, while the other ones only go so far, framed within the edges about an eighth of an inch.

much like this:

So why are they different?

Ended up passing for $25. Picked up mother! for $15 instead.

I'll have to monitor for a price drop.

I would guess another region/country, or a well done bootleg. Since it is release day, I'd bet other region. No time to make boots yet I would think.

Someone on last page commented that it is the Amazon.es lenticular version.

I can't stand steelbook blu-rays. Actually they're not even made of real steel, they're made of tin. I avoid them like the plague.

Grabbed the last Target exclusive at the store by me. Glad I went, as I really didn't expect this one to go so fast.

I'm surprised to see the Target edition selling out so fast. Thank god I'm traveling through Biloxi, Mississippi where not many people probably know what a Blu-ray is.

I bought the steelbook, I like the image (even the one on the inside is great) and the overall look, normally I don't get steelbooks. I will be selling the UV code if anybody wants it.

I just checked my store on the site and they are sold out already.

So hopefully mine gets to me in the mail.
