I received the IMAX prehistoric two pack. That’s the one that was missing from my package the other day. I’ve also received from eBay, Monsters vs Aliens Samsung starter kit version. I got it bran new for 10.50. Specifically to see B.O.B.’s Big Break in proper 3d. So worth it!
I’m picking up Blade Runner 2049 3d this morning and I should be receiving Michael Jackson’s This is It in the mail today.(also from eBay) I’ll post pics as soon as they’re in my possession.

I was very pleasantly surprised with the first one. Great 3D, a frame break or two, and yes, just goofy fun. Looking forward to the second.

Meanwhile, I broke in my Transformers 3 and 4 blu rays. The 3D presentation in Age of Extinction was flawless and delightful. Sharp and colorful, with shifting aspect ratios. 3 was good, but not as good.

Both movies could stand to be edited down to half their running time. Why are they so long?

Watched - The Force Awakens

I tried to watch all seven of the previous films before The Last Jedi, but I only got through the first six. Just ran out of time. Still very good. Both Jedi and Awakens compliment one another quite well. Hopefully Jedi will eventually come out in 3D.

Watched the last two segments of the Cousteau Trilogy, Dolphins and Whales and Ocean Wonderland. As with Sharks, wonderful documentaries with colorful and detailed pictures and plenty of 3D depth. However, like with the first entry, it was accompanied by portions of eyestrain, halos and crosstalk.

Though that might be enough to discourage perfectionists, one can accept those defects and not allow them to detract from an otherwise enjoyable package.
Although I have only watched Whales so far, I haven't experienced any eyestrain or crosstalk.

Hi Bleed,

Will give this one a try and will then see. Thanks to you, Law and Hedji for the advice and differing opinion.

Hi Damon,

Maybe that's the disadvantage of having cateracts removed and giving one 20/20 vision?

Purchased The Secret Life of Pets 3D for $5.99 used on Amazon.com. Saw this on Netflix and enjoyed it so I hope the 3D is good.

Hey guys.

Ordered it. Liked what I saw on the trailer and some private reviews including good ones on the Blu-ray 3D! Got brand new all region edition for $11.95 and free shipping.

Thanks again for your thoughts.

I agree. 3D turned what would normally be decent into good territory for us.

I did the same and almost used the 3d function on my TV. There were a few scenes that looked like they would be great in 3d.
