I think the trailer looks pretty good. Noticed all the similarities to the reboot game.

God the CG is so baaad. I also hate that they kept the absolute worst part of the 2013 reboot. Lara getting absolutley decimated by falling, knocked around, etc. It was dumb in the game, and looks even dumber in live action.

There’s so much good and yet so much bad with this trailer. I’ll be seeing it regardless, but I really wish they would’ve gotten away from the “father leading the daughter to finish his work” plot because it was used in the first Jolie film. The secret society bent on global domination and the villain having once known her father are also being recycled from that film. And that cover of Survivor is gross. Other than those elements, Vikander looks great and the imagery looks like it was yanked directly from that reboot game. I’m very excited to see this.

Just cause they use a remix of a pop song doesn't make this look any better. Still looks bad. Casting is wrong. Copy paste from the new games seems forced. And why does everyone have to be save the world. Movies work in small scale too. Plus what a crappy dad to ask that of his daughter. Go almost die but try not to. WTH

Well, Vikander is not Lara. Not what Lara should have been. It's a miscast comparable to what happen to Jean Grey in Apocalypse. I am unable to get over it, so the movie is on the lost position for me already.

Besides, trailers look boring and generic.

This looks fun. Looks to be heavily inspired by the 2013 video game reboot (which was also a lot of fun). Alicia Vikander seems to channeling her inner-Daisy Ridley.

It looks okay, it hasn't got me reaching for my gamepad to skip the cut-scene, so I'm interested. I would have liked Daisy Ridley in the role, but I think this is going for a mature PG-13 and not an old fashioned adventure with a young heroine kind of thing.

She doesn't act like Laura, the performance that we have seen in the trailer just doesn't match the character at all. It's like they have forced the old movie Laura into the story of the new reboot, which are tonally miles apart and it just looks awful. Not sure what to expect with the new Lara Croft movie, but hopefully it's less cheesy than the prior ones with Jolie.

Other than a lot of dirt I don't see it. The game lara seems a bit more "full" and not as boney. Also a bit more attractive.
