i don't think it was pushed back, in fact, i don't think the PS3 should have even been released til early to early mid 2008.

imagine if the PS3 was released the same day as the xbox.... there would be like 10 games released that year.

the ps3 came out a whole year later and there were less than a handful of games ready at release date.

You are out of your mind if you think the ps3 had a shot at doing anything if released that late. You do not understand marketing what so ever. The ps3 being released a year after the 360 hurt the ps3 for almost 18 months. If it would have been released that late it would have been doomed, not to mention blu-ray would have lost on top of it.

Ok there's really no lawsuit here unless there was a blatant breach of agreement (which I highly doubt happened). The Blu-ray drive is the reason why Sony didn't release with Microsoft. And to be fair, with launch titles, MS had just as crappy ones as Sony did, and far fewer to choose from.

The late delivery along with many other stumbles by Sony could not be even closed to recovered from the bridges that would be scorched with a lawsuit. Not to mention, nothing illegal was probably done on MS' and IBM's parts.

In the end, all this article will do is sell books to fanboys.

If you consider 21 for PS3 and 18 for the 360 to be "far fewer" then you are correct. I agree it would have been disaster for the PS3, blu-ray & the cell to release any later than they did.

I don't see any grounds for a law suit.
