Okay with a house like that....either Laurie took over “Strode real estate” or in order to ignore these “never happened” films...I honestly can see a new nightmare route going on....where the original Halloween was real life all actually happened....but everything after that was made for the movies to bank on such a horrific night who wouldn’t wanna make a movie based of true events of a escaped serial killer who stalks babysitters..so on and so forth...and this is Laurie’s way of never really being able to escape/let go of the events that happened that night

Exactly what I was thinking. I think they don't want people to think about H20 so they changed it up to have her with long hair. And it does make her look more like a grandma. She looks older than what she really is lol. I also like how the wig resembles the style of hair from the original a bit also.
