I'm guessing that the post count appearing (or not) depends on some settings. I never see what eiknarf has posted. But do see other info like "Blu-ray collection:" or "Trading Score:".

But it's visible to anyone clicking on the member's name from anywhere in the forum. Here's Jtaliani's, for example: https://forum.blu-ray.com/member.php?u=457165

I used to see post counts right under people’s avatars whenever they post. I don’t anymore though. Not sure why.

I believe it depends on which style you have selected at the bottom of the forum:

Yup. Default and Classic styles will show post counts and thanks given and received below the forum member's avatar while Blu-Ray style won't but it will show blu ray collections and trading score numbers.
Too bad they can't just incorporate them all.

I've had that happen before. I logged in and all of a sudden everything was purple instead of the blue I was so used to seeing. Soon after I discovered the different options.

I just noticed you have over 100K posts and your ranking says Blu-ray Jedi but Jedi isn't mentioned in the list of ranks in the OP. Looks like they need to update some of the ranks.

Pretty sure that's from back when you could add a custom title. Unless it has been changed then the mods are free to edit my OP

Become one of the 100 most prolific contributors in any eligible category, by contribution points.

To see those go here: https://www.blu-ray.com/community/?a...opcontributors

And then click on the drop down menu. Iirc a couple of those categories normal members can't contribute to, but everything else is fair game.

Some are very popular and it takes thousands-to-tens of thousands of hours to make the top 100, like Blu-ray Movies.

Others like PC Games only have 37 people who've ever contributed, so providing 1 point of correct info to an existing entry, or creating a new entry, will get you on the list, and so make you a Top Contributor.

Just remember that if you ever fall out of the Top 100, and aren't Top 100 in any other category, then you may lose the ranking.
