I think there is a Warner Classics streaming service or something, but it still doesn't have everything. Heck, he was talking about a movie from 1997 that he was not able to stream. I don't see very many movies from the 80's that are streaming but what the hell I'll even start from there. 46.9% of my movies are from 1980 on. So 53.1% of what I own spans from 1920-1979. I can guarantee the majority of those films either aren't streaming at all, and if they are, they either aren't in the proper aspect ratio, don't have the correct audio, have none of the special features I have on my discs, and might not be in High Definition.

I like a lot of really really old movies, most people do not, therefore they hardly stream very much of it because it's not in high demand.

For what I want physical media is a must.

If one day they manage to restore and catalogue the entire gamut of the film industry, I'd be game. But I'm not expecting that to happen anytime soon.
