There is a blu-ray of Ronja, The Robber's Daughter released by Studio Canal in the UK. It's not very good though. It only has the English language track. No Japanese.

It's treated as a separate bonus feature, and it doesn't automatically play before the movie.
I didn't buy those because of Castle in the Sky's subtitles, and Spirited Away's relatively high price (I didn't feel like paying $20+ for a movie that we already had on both VHS and DVD).

If they eventually get to distribute The Wind Rises, what could GKids do to improve the blu-ray? It looks completely fine as is.

Just a question. I picked up Spirited Away, Ponyo, and Nausicaa today and have My Neighbors the Yamadas on order now from Amazon as I could not find it in a store anywhere. Is Spirited Away's dub track the exact same as the Disney disc? I mean there are no lines missing or changed audio? I ask this because I know Disney changed the track for Kiki's Delivery Service which forced me to buy the old DVD used because I like the first dub. I know this will seem weird to some, but I ask because this is how I enjoy the films.

I KNOW!!! I hate that sound on the Disney Blu and I bought a used 2003 DVD off of eBay just to get the original dub, but I warn you you'll pay a pretty penny.

Audio/subtitles/dubtitles, a booklet, and a Slipcover.

Default GKIDS at Walmart

Saw these at few of my local Walmart stores:

Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and From Up On Poppy Hill were the only blu-rays I found in store for $15.96. There were other titles in DVD formats only.

From Up On Poppy Hill had shrinkwrap over the slipcover, and I noticed that the colors on the slipcover appear pretty bland and doesn't have that shiny metallic color to it like the one I found few months back at Best Buy with the initial GKIDS release.

Wondering if these are re-printed slipcovers since the ones I found at Best Buy didn't have the slipcover shrinkwrapped and had that metallic shininess to it.

Well... I bought Nausicaä, Castle in the Sky, My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, and From up on Poppy Hill at Amazon. Now if those other ones would go down to what the other ones are at. I regret not getting them when they were lower last year.

From what I sampled, it doesn't seem like GKIDS cut any lines.

Out of my 4 local best buys only one had this promotional end cap this week.

Anyone else?

One BB near my work has had a Studio Ghibli endcap since December. No other local stores have it though.

I was able to cobble together all the first releases from Best Buy over the past two weeks (a couple of the slipcovers were really jacked up, though). But I had to go to Frys to get Earthsea and Poko cuz I guess BB isn't gonna stock these last two on shelves for some reason (did the line fail in stores, or something?)

It hurts me that these are out of order lol

Have the re-releases been in store at Best Buy on release date though? I know people have been getting them, but IIRC, they were showing up 1-2 weeks later. So maybe that's why BB doesn't have them yet?

I'm STILL waiting on Earthsea and Pom Poko... my Prime expired in December and I haven't had a chance to get it again yet, so my Jan 8th pre-order just finally shipped on Friday and is expected to arrive on Wednesday. I guess Amazon doesn't care about anybody unless they're Prime.
