Someone in kino really loves their early 90s movies. Which is GREAT! because they do not get enough love. bring on more 90s titles like straight talk please!

I’m in for Straight Talk (already have Mill Creek but I’m sure this will be better) and Deceived. KL Insider is it possible we’ll be seeing D.O.A from Touchstone as well?

That's a Hong Kong film.

I bet even the filmmakers don't know who has the rights now?

Will Consenting Adults be a new transfer?

Excited for Bad Company. It basically seemed to disappear when the Anthony Hopkins/Chris Rock movie with the same title came out.

Keep the Touchstone/Hollywood Pictures titles coming!
I don't know if it's solid (that "critically acclaimed" tag for these 3 movies is a bit much), but it has nice lighting by Jack Green (just like Bad Company), a nice score by Thomas Newman, and Hawn handles herself quite well in a non-comedy.

I'm probably down for all these 3.

So far none of these Disney licensed titles are new transfers AFAIK, so I wouldn't count on it. They are getting whatever Disney has available and it's mostly older masters. Probably why KL are adding extras to them.

The OP could use an update (though considering KL's torrid output, it probably always does!)

To be fair the thrillers/romance thrillers really stand out from most the movies in the 90s. Not much was going on for horror, sci-fi, or the average cgi mess. Maybe because daytime soap operas were booming or just a current film noir style, but the 90s were packed with movies like this. I also really enjoy the music scores from these style movies. It might not be stuff I listen to outside the films, but it really helps set the mood when watching.

Yeah, I did a double-take too when I read that, but I’m sure that some critic, somewhere, loved each of those movies.

The 90s had a ton of "psychopath invades the life of an innocent person or couple and makes life a living hell" movies. "Single White Female", "Consenting Adults", "The Hand that Rocks the Cradle", "Unlawful Entry", "Poison Ivy", etc. There's also "Blind Side" with Rutger Hauer, which is hilarious. "Hider in the House" with Gary Busey is a late 80s entry into this genre. Have to imagine the success of "Fatal Attraction" inspired a lot of knockoffs.

Allow me to add "Pacific Heights" to that list.

"Hey, Michael Keaton, you just got done playing Batman! What's next?" "Oh, I was thinking of putting down the cape and playing a complete psycho who rents an apartment from this nice couple and then proceeds to make their lives an absolute living hell."
