Maybe if they release the sequels it'll ONLY be in a boxset, so they're just getting the first movie out of the way then a bunch of people will double-dip on it to get the sequels.

I think they'll release a boxset and reloaded and revolutions individually for the holidays.

An intentional double dip, but one that I'll live with due to there only being a handful of movies that I'll double dip on in a given generation.

Glad this is appearing on UHD BD - the existing HD DVD and BD releases are made from an old telecine. I was always surprised that such an iconic movie didn't get a new transfer from the neg.

I was so ecstatic getting that Amazon pre-order notification email. Pre-ordered!

If Black Panther and this come out the same day I'm not sure which I'd watch first. (I know it's rumored a week earlier)

They really are useless. Hopefully Warner Bros. will include a re-mastered Blu-ray.

Best Buy lists 3 discs, Amazon - 2... Probably an error on BB.

If the press release doesn't have any other mistakes, it lists the BD as remastered.

Seems the same old piss disc. So no remastered Blu-ray, like the press wants us to believe.
