I still think that old VC-1 transfer was rather great for it's time.

I think as a general rule of thumb if there is a separate BD release that they are charging full price for it really ought to be a remaster, but as long as the BD is only included in the UHD set it doesn't really matter if it's remastered or not.

I say the sooner the better more UHD BD players sell...if anyone cares about the format long term, that is.

I know like a week ago I said how lame it was that people complain about cover art... But I have to be a total hypocrite because my god.. Talk about hideous! Compared to even the previously bad artworks I've seen for this title.

The Matrix always had terrible covers. Except for the theatrical one. So this one is the second best.

I have the original theatrical poster framed and I was hoping it would make it on the UHD, but it was not meant to be. I actually have four framed Matrix posters for the trilogy that I intend to use if ever get a chance to build a home theater room.

I also have the oversized poster for the DVD premiere of Tron and the original Band of Brothers poster framed. I also have an original poster for Road to Perdition that I found by luck at a junk store for $12 that I plan to get framed in the future.

I started collection posters. I usually swap them out at the beginning of each season. I was thinking about getting the Matrix.

I did buy the whole Matrix series on bluray. I'll be waiting for the whole set to come out on 4K before I buy again......

I'l gladly support a classic without having the need to buy all three films at once ASAP. It's a business practice which happens way too infrequently. Also that whole 4K picture and Atmos audio thing too.
