For me, it's The Two Towers. It seems that the 2nd film (much like Empire Strikes Back) was a little darker and grittier. I loved the character(s) of Gollum, and the Battle at Helm's Deep was my favorite LOTR scene.

same here.. that battle at Helm's Deep was freakin AMAZING... i have that scene recorded into my dvr on HD, and cant wait till its out on BLU!!!
