Damn Mike, I hope your kiddo is ok today. Mine had to get one of his baby teeth pulled today and had a little anxiety thanks to his tonsil and adenoids surgery a few months back. Luckily my Mrs was assisting her doctor today for his visit. So once they realized what was going on it was smooth sailing yanking out that bad boy. Unfortunately this meant I had to stay up and play Tooth Fairy and he's a bit of a night owl like me at the moment. Mission accomplished and now I'm sitting here eating some of the leftovers in the fridge before I crash for the night. Heading out to the coast tomorrow and hope everyone has an awesome/safe weekend.

Last time we experienced a power outage, I pulled out some of my solar powered camping gear, worked like a charm.

Nah. Just for entertainment. One was based on procrastination, the other focused on shape-shifting dinosaurs. Before that I was reading about colonization of the Galaxy and the possibility of the many far more intelligent species out there in our universe.

yeah, why does the power always go out at the most inopportune times? it never goes out when you're sleeping, always when you wanna watch something on tv or are downloading something online.

Samsung UBD-K8500 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray & DVD Player with HDR and Wi-Fi Streaming

Just bought that for my father for his 65th birthday. Doubt it's a true HD BD player but at least he'll be able to watch BDs on his new LG 4k TV now.

Just bought tickets to see one of my favorite bands (White Denim) at a small club in ATL. Only catch is that it's on my lady's birthday.

Back on topic ... sitting here at the hospital, drinking nasty vending machine coffee because I'm too [s]cheap[/s] proud to pay the prices for a cup from the Starbucks in the hospital cafe. Hopefully it won't be too much longer before my daughter's discharged, we've been here since about 4AM.
