Things have changed from two years ago; they sell 4K Blu-rays now with no special features.
But they charge you more by including the same movie in low def (1080p Blu) which can accomodate a bunch of special features. ...Very clever the way they do business nowadays. And to help the sales even more they killed 3D and made Dolby Atmos audio an exclusive of 4K UHD! Talk about extreme cleverness. They even changed the color of the plastic case, from blue to black...as if they wanted to emphasize the darker blacks of the 4K discs...like the space of the galaxy from Star War flicks. Now, that's another clever stuffess ... all that blues. Special features? With so many films now, there's just no time to waste on extra features, or we'd miss too many films till we die. That's my way of thinking in the year 2018 @ the edge of 8K and HDR10+. ...Dolby Vision ... all that jazz. |
