Turns out the CARRIER COLLECTORS SET is THE CARRIER BLU + MAGNET for $2 extra.

I liked my idea better

The non-magnet version still avail for $2 less.

I prefer to keep our interactions confined to this safe place, Blu-ray.com, which is basically an Alcoholics Anonymous for fans of obscure horror or exploitation.

I “like” the Scream Factory page on Facebook, but Scream Factory is basically Horror for Normal People. It's like a gateway drug into this sort of madness.

It's trippy to think how weird buying a women's prison film would seem to some person who is completely removed from obscure movies, film collecting, or a board like this.

Bill trully has a “great eye” for finding interesting and entertaining movies that people like. I am sure in person he is very likable as the amount of actors who agree to do interviews proves that. Fact is that Bill trolls his customers and he joined up with The Demon who is much better at trolling people.

Bill has issues with all his business partners...so it seems. This joining of forces by Banana Man and The Demon will not last long.
I was alluding to the possibility this FeDalco guy was/is the person who bought up a bunch of Necromancy copies to sell off for a profit before the release was pulled. Boobery/Jeff/FeDalco are probably the same person. Perhaps he got a bit of "insider info" from a certain mutual wrestling nut/owner of a video label. Bananaman obviously became smitten with this dude because of the wrestling obsession. He's allowed him to film bananaman traipsing around a post office and inside his hideously cluttered apartment. FeDalco isn't doing Bill any favors here, needless to say.

No one seems to have a problem watching Lockup on MSNBC. To me, that show is almost the modern equivalent of a "white coater"* at times, minus the more salacious content. It's all largely gratuitous, no matter how you look at it. At least there's a degree of forthrightness in the WiP films.

If this thread was a lot more normal and not a almost complete hate box with people constantly berating the owner and every release they make or acquire I would be a happy contributor because I really enjoy their drivve-in releases and think all the wrestling style promotion and hype is great and a fun thing to see on Facebook.

What a joke. He loves to overhype and then not deliver.

What has he done that we should be throwing him praise? I mean, I guess he has fast delivery, that's something, but so far he has sold two faulty discs and acted like a jackass. You have to earn respect and he hasn't been off to a great start.

What's fun about releasing faulty discs, and then instead of pulling them and sending out replacements, increasing the price and scalping them? Or was it fun when Walt called him out on this he and his buddy vulgarly insulted him for several posts afterwards, talking about how dangerous he is? Or I guess you find it really fun when he throws out empty threats to other companies? No, but really, what is fun about this clown and the way acts like a 12 year old frat boy?

Again, it's time he left his fantasy wrestling world and acted like a professional businessman, or even just an adult, if he wants to be treated like one.

My thoughts exactly.

The "King of Violence" has worn me down so much, I have given up completely on trying to figure out why people support him.

He's got Primal Scream, which I've wanted since it was a Code Red title, but the jury is out on the A/V of that one. I'll likely pick it up if it is a good disc.

I just don't really jive with the way they operate, it's just not me.

I'd rather a company be boring with it's promotion and public image, than an over the top TAP OUT shirt wearing used car salesmen.

So, you also enjoy the disrespect of the deceased, his put downs of other label owners, and the outright lies he uses to try to sell useless, broken product?

You should post anyway just skip the haterade posts. Still a good time to be had!

I agree it's funny as hell, especially now with the house that vanished and the Carrier battling for the Dark Force heavyweight championship!

Oh, this is tempting. I know this is DNR-city though.

I did place my first order with DF and the shipping speed was insane! This insane:

definitely worth it at that price. it's a weird looking transfer because of the heavy DNR, but you can't go wrong for $12.99. not a super strong movie, but it gets the job done for some goofy alien horror

Getting back to the Banana Man chat, and since it came up in conversation there, I do think Dark Force should consider releasing SUMMER CAMP NIGHTMARE.

I know it's PG-13, but it was a staple of 1980s video store horror sections, and is actually a really good film. It's also never had a good DVD or Blu-ray release and I feel like it'd do really well for whoever is enterprising enough to release it.
