It's odd that WinDVD 9 doesn't support BD-Live. I have older WinDVD BD 8 for VAIO and it supports BD-Live.

OEM versions currently support BD-Live (including 9.0) but Corel hasn't released this feature for retail users. Corel made BD-live support available to OEM versions last summer.

Usually, retail version gets more support than OEM. So, it is odd that Corel puts OEM ahead of retail version.

Most companies usually do, but unfortunately from my experience this is Corel we're talking about. Lets just say I was pissed when I found out ... especially after purchasing the retail version.

Anyway, here's a link to Corel's press release which discusses this.
