Hulk does not have a set strength, his power correlates to his rage. We see a tame Hulk and we get base level strength.
I'm kind of hoping to see Hulk rage out against Thanos for A4. Kinda like how he went berserk against Onslaught. Maybe Scarlet Witch could replace Jean Grey in the scene below.

You are taking a very limited view of the space-time continuum. We know for a fact that Capt. Marvel becomes a part of the MCU upon the release of her standalone film in the first few months of 2019. You just have to transport yourself mentally to that point in the space-time continuum and then you could pretty much take it for granted. Then you can return to the present time and enjoy the anticipation of the upcoming MCU movies before Avengers 4.

we have never seen the hulk afraid of anything, he was trying to smash Surtur for f'sake!

but, the beating and humiliation laid on him by Thanos was something so unbelievable to him, to his very core, I believe that he is in a child like fear because remember, the hulk is a base creature and mentally is very child like.

think about kids who see something horrific and never speak again or don't speak for years after it, that is what I believe the hulk is going through. imno.
Yes, it's clear the Hulk was traumatized. Hulk DOES have a child intellect in the MCU. They said as much regarding Thor Ragnarok. It's so damn cool how they messed with the trailers. Showing Hulk running in to battle is a HUGE mindscrew. Thanos with only two stones fighting Cap, etc.

What I really loved was showing Dr. Strange at full power cutting loose battling Thanos.

Also, Star-Lord really kicking ass. He was a genuine badass hero.

The entire Iron Man, Spider-Man, Dr. Strange and Guardians VS Thanos with them almost winning is the MVP scene of the film. I assume one of the millions of futures Dr. Strange checked out included him going back and stopping Quill from lashing out. It probably still didn't matter.

I saw you and your daughter in Coseley (both looked awesome btw) but didn't think the Q about strongest avengers (clearly hulk if shark's voice auth is to be believed . )was related to yourself.(trying to catch up on the thread means I may not pay attention to names.. Sorry)

Green Hulk is supposed to be aggressive and child-like. It's the Grey Hulk that is the more intelligent version of Hulk.

So why dindt Dr. Strange use his time stone to stop Thanos? He had the power to manipulate time, which could have helped at several different points in the film

Not really limited - just that the movies are released in the order they are for a reason. So current timeline doesn't include the impending Capt Marvel is all.
Come next Feb, she will be.

If we start looking forward like that then we may as well count all potential characters in the comic-verse as MCU inclusive

I can jump around the timeline fine, but am not wanting to open that 'impeding' can of worms

That's just it. I'm betting he checked out every avenue and they are currently running that "one in millions" (whatever the number was) where they did win. If he did not help it's because he ran that scenario and it didn't work.

He could have fastforwarded to the future where they win and we'd have no motive

Actually I doubt it, he probably saw *that* timeline and thus is unable/willing to do anything to alter events in that one.

Course.

And I quite like that they are continuing the child mentality of Hulk. Make perfect sense he'd be scared after his first beat down.
Keeps the character interesting; it's a continuation of his ongoing arc.

Why didn't someone throw Banner at Thanos or a tree? The Hulk won't let Banner die. Remember he said he tried to put a bullet in his mouth/head and he said the other guy wouldn't let him. Surely the hulk has some sort of self awareness to what banner is doing or going thru making sure he stays alive and comes out as necessary. Do you think the writers decides that the Hulk could do massive damage to Thor that's why they kept him out of the fight?

If he has the time stone, he just needs to steer it to 'that' possible future.

Am glad they didn't go the easy time stone route but it's still a daft question (I was being sarcastic in my initial reply btw )
