Good observation, but that's the ending, before showing Neo on the phone telling the System off.

The film opens with the camera zooming through a big 0, in between a 5 and a 6. Which is appropriate, since Neo is the sixth iteration of the One and the film begins between cycles five and six.

Another funny thing I noticed is that the film begins and ends in the exact same place: apartment room 303. I assume that's another clue to Neo being the sixth version of the One.

Lol you're right. See, it's been too long since I've SEEN IT!

Good observation on your part with the 5 and 6. I hadn't delved too greedily or too deep during the beginning numbers for some reason.

Also, it's called the "Heart O' the City" motel/hotel, so it's symbolic of the pure, incorruptible, seeking heart (Neo, looking for something) that resides within the core of humanity (the capacity for good).

Neo = Good person = Heart = Love

O' the city = of/for humanity = Within the core of our better selves.

Core = Zion = Heart of the Planet.

So returning to be heart is symbolic of Neo wanting to run home where he's safe and can hide from his fate. But surprise. You can't escape your fate as he opens the door.

You know, I know that this disc doesn't exist. I know that when I put it into the tray and push play button, the matrix is telling my brain that the presentation is crisp, filmic and grainy. After 9 years of waiting for this remaster, you know what I realize? UHD is bliss.

Remember to choose the blue pill. If you take the blue pill this disc will continue to exist. I know the red pill looks like it has a nice strawberry taste to it and all, but it really doesn't. It tastes like Omega 3.
