That's the main problem I have with this movie, and I saw it coming. It feels incomplete. It's still a decent watch, but an incomplete, and pretty downbeat, experience. |

For the Avengers, wait for next year. As a Thanos movie, it's perfect and complete. He's essentially the main character who has a goal, with valid points, does things to get to the goal and wins. It's RARE for the villain to win, which is yes, downbeat, but refreshing. |

Captain Marvel will likely have its own self-contained storyline but I'll bet cash money that the stinger for that flick will be CM receiving Fury's time-travelling text message, thus setting the stage for all the timey-wimey shenanigans that've been glimpsed on the Avengers 4 shoot. Back to the Future Part II crossbred with the MCU... ![]() |

You continually posted about Thanos being overhyped. You did that. Last edited by jayman3; 05-04-2018 at 11:09 PM. |

I think it depends on the writing.
Thanos hasnt been shown fighting without a stone. And we dont know if this Hulk gains strength as he gets angrier. I got Hulk over MCU Thanos in a one on one. I wonder if Thanos could punch a Chitari alien giant ship and have the same impact as Hulk in The Avengers. Could Thor do that with his Hammer or just with one punch??? Would Thor need to wind up his hammer and gather the energy along with his own like he did in Dark World against the rock-monster? |

Thanos is by far the most powerful, three dimensional villain in all of the MCU. He is miles better than the countless, underdeveloped and completely forgettable villains of Marvel films past. |

Only because Marvel dumb down all those other villains to make Thanos look good. But no, seriously. Marvel should treat ALL their villains equally. I don't like this mentally of half-assing all of these other villains and only caring about this one. Like when Marvel was promoting Age of Ultron at Comic Con, they brought in Josh Brolin as a special surprise. And I'm like, why would they have Josh Brolin come in and steal Ultron's thunder? Isn't Age of Ultron Ultron's movie? Not to mention the fact that the Russos keep comparing Thanos to Darth Vader and how Kevin Feige says Thanos is the best villain way before Infinity War came out. So clearly, their minds is at making one villain truly great. So sorry if I want all my villains to be great.
