Who knows, If Hulk could actually learn to fight instead of just Hulk Smash, he might have faired better against Thanos. Thanos is like Chuck Norris, he knows various fighting styles and how to take out his opponents very easily, while Hulk is like the drunken hotthead and uses all his power in all the wrong ways since he isn't thinking clearly. A little smashing may get the job done against some of Hulk's opponents but doesn't go very far against the ones who can actually fight.

He's more powerful/stronger than Thanos because Thor brought him down to his knees with Stormbreaker when he plunged it through Thanos' chest. |

You know what the worst part is? Even LEGO made the villain better than the movie did -- from it's own merchandise! |

In the long run a real Mandarin with Ten Rings of alien power would have made Thanos less impressive.

The whole MCU villain criticism is cliche. There have been more good antagonists than bad. |

Recent MCU villains have only been good lately because Marvel Studios is starting to take the criticism of weak villains seriously. Kevin Feige even addressed this before.

That's just like, your opinion, man.
I haven't hated a single villain in these movies. I'm even down with Justin Hammer dancing his ass around a stage to mess with Tony as an okay thing to watch. |

Him, Hela, Kilmonger, Red Skull, Thanos and Vulture (from what I've seen) are great villains. Even the baddie from Doctor Strange is good. |

All of the Phase 3 villains have been great. Why you ask? Because Marvel made them sympathetic. They had good intentions with bad actions. Their goals were relatable. It made you sympathize with them.

You have to watch Hannibal. I say this a lot, but it makes The Silence of the Lambs look like child's play by comparison. Mads Mikkelsen easily tops Sir Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter. People say the best villains are the ones who are sympathetic and understand their motives. Not Mads Mikkelsen's Hannibal Lecter, though. He is evil as f***, yet you still root for him more than any other character on the show. Now THAT'S what a great villain does.

Phase 3 has been amazing. The only movie in phase 3 that I'm iffy about is Guardians 2, but I still rewatch it frequently. I'm not big on Black Panther either but I can still see why it has become a fan favorite.
