Australian DVD is easy to get from Amazon UK, but as mentioned in my first post, the quality leaves a lot to be desired.

Over The Edge (1979) seems right up MVD Rewind's alley. It's a cult classic, with a great soundtrack, never released on BD. I don't know if it's still with Warner Bros, the DVD was over ten years ago.
I thought Kino had announced they had this one a while back but hadn't announced a release date yet.

He even does the commentary with him on the X-men DVD. They're both gross human beings.

Thanks man I really appreciate it ! I think it's really cool of you to take the time and engage with the fans on this message board, MVD is quickly becoming one of my favourite boutique labels ! Iv'e got Return of Swamp thing coming in the mail and it should arrive sometime next week I think I'll add Abominable to my Lionheart pre-order to show my support for the label.....

I don't know how well it would sell to be honest but I would love to have Gas Pump Girls on Blu-ray, if you could wrestle that one out of MGM's hands that would be awesome. I have the manufactured on demand DVD-R that MGM released a few years back and the picture is decent but I would love to see this film in HD, one of the better sex comedies in my opinion and it really brings you back to a different era.

MVD might officially become my favorite label if they could manage to get the rights to the No Retreat, No Surrender sequels/spinoffs e.g. Raging Thunder, Blood Brothers, King of the Kickboxers, and American Shaolin.

I'd also take almost anything from the 90's starring Mark Dacascos, Cynthia Rothrock, Don "The Dragon" Wilson, and Billy Blanks as well.

MVD is killing it right now with some of their acquisitions. I already own Black Eagle and have Lionheart and Abonimable on preorder. Split Second and Nemesis are sure pick ups as well.

Hey MVD Guy, I'm really loving this line so far and looking forward to your upcoming releases, especially Nemesis.

Speaking of Nemesis, I wanted to inform you of some audio issues with the current releases (specifically the German release) that can hopefully be fixed for this new edition. Around the 64 and 71-minute mark, the dialogue noticeably drifts out of sync with the picture, also at the end of the film the track features dialogue from Tim Thomerson's character from the Japanese Extended Version but without the accompanying footage. It seems like they used the audio from the extended cut and tried to make it fit the theatrical cut. Further proof of this is the film features the extended cuts voice-over, the U.S cut has a female voice, while the extended cut uses Olivier Gruner. Hope this info helps!

P.S. Is there any chance we'll be getting Albert Pyun's Mean Guns.

Yeah hopefully they don't over extend themselves. Definitely more Cynthia Rothrock movies should be included.

Would like and purchase all of the above too Especially the Cynthia Rothrock stuff. She seems pretty open about talking about her movies, lots of clips on youtube, could probably get some nice extras with her. She's still easy on the eyes too

The ones I'd most love to see are
  • Kickboxer 2 - 4
  • Showdown (1993)
  • Only The Strong (1993)
  • Drive (1997)
  • Mean Guns (1997)

I wonder if MVD has the two Shootfighter films on its radar. I've never seen them but the new Cobra Kai series has brought my Karate Kid nostalgia love back and apparently the first Shootfighter reunited Martin Kove (Kreese) and William Zabka (Johnny). Zabka also appears in the second film. I'd be interested in picking these up.
