Just left Target and they had 2 4k and 1 standard BD. The 4K looks really nice. But they are asking $59.99. Best Buy is $54 for steelbook and $49 for the other. I thought Target might be inline with Best Buy, but I guess not this time. Still waiting for mine to be shipped.

So, where's the digital code? Didn't find in between any pages.

Think mine might be missing.

Does the 4K version fix this mistake like the 3D version did?

https://www.moviemistakes.com/chimag...image=4341.jpg

Could someone please provide before-and-after screenshots of that and the Dilophosaurus wire removals?

Nope, that one's still there on the UHD:

Sarah Harding chastises the others in her group about the importance of observing without interacting shortly after almost getting herself killed attempting to pet an infant Stegosaurus. She chastises Nick for his terrible idea to bring the infant Tyrannosaurus back to the trailer, then shuts up and helps him do it. After this inevitably ends in disaster, she proceeds to explain the dangers of the bull rex tracking the group with its powerful olfactory sense, but brings the jacket coated in the infant's blood with her as they flee. Sarah has a bad habit of telling off others for things she then proceeds to do anyway.

Is there any defending this?

I hope these eventually come out as separate releases. I hate this type of sleeve packaging, due to way it scatches discs.

What I don't get is, if they're going to leave this much grain anyway, why even bother removing any of it in the first place? Same with "managing" the grain on opticals and VFX shots to the point where they have much less apparent grain than the rest...

Generally the goal is to help the grain feel consistent (while still feeling natural in regards to how grain visibility relates to light exposure on the negative) and not noisy so as to avoid it being a distraction. Similar to how in old recordings you don't want the hiss to be distracting or constantly changing, but you don't want to get rid of it either. Plus, excess grain can actually obscure detail within the picture on account of the "noise floor being too high".

You could also justify by saying that the grain isn't near as prominent in the cinema, so if you manage the grain to emulate a theatrical look.

Just got back from Best Buy and opened up my steelbook. No paperwork or digital code of any kind. Found UPHE support online and submitted a request. Let's see.

This is getting pathetic. Not to mention I went to Walmart right after and they didn't have ANY of those movies to be seen either. WTF. I think catalogue titles are a complete bust now on release day in-store at least for me locally anyways. Guess I gotta start pre-ordering all of my stuff on Amazon.ca and just forget going to Best Buy or Walmart for anything that's a catalogue title. To quote Donald Trump - "Sad".
I was at WM around 9 am today and they didn't have any new releases out. I did have an employee go get the one's I wanted from the back though. Was surprised that I even found an employee in electronics, and one willing to go check for me.
