The third one was actualy more fun then the second one IMO.

And what is it with everyone and the "no Rachel Weizs in the third film"? She not a big loss if you asked me. She is way overrated in the hotness department and she was rather annoying at times. I like what Maria Bello did with the character.

The third was tied for worst movie of the year with Indy 4 for me. The others I did upgrade.

I only upgraded the first from The Ultimate Mummy DVD. I bought the other 2 as Blu only. I felt that the first one was worth the upgrade, but the DTS Audio on The Ultimate Mummy DVD was quite good.

You will not be disappointed with your purchase, they are a definite upgrade over DVD and you will notice the fantastic transfer and kick*** audio. One of my favourite popcorn-flick movies !!

Basically they won't ship till the 27th as I've included another item bundled together w/ them for my sister which doesn't come out till the 27th. So I just want to make sure their worth the buy or should I pick something else up. Their both $19.95 CDN, which sounds like an okay price.

Thanks.
I have them both on DVD and on Blu. The blu transfer is far superior is every aspect!

It is not as good certainly as the original Mummy. AQ and PQ are really quite good.

I liked it and if it can be found for a good price, go for it. Others may not like it that well and there is some question about the CGI affects (being poor or cheesy). I think that the Rock did an OK performance in the title roll.

I bought the trilogy and thought they were all really well done with PQ and AQ, but as for the 3rd movie itself.....well....when the Yeti made the sign for a field goal after kicking a bad guy thru some "uprights"....thats where it really lost me. But I thought all 3 movies looked and sounded really good though.

Cool, thanks for all the replies. Definitely will be sticking with the purchase then. Anyways I love the movies to death so how could I pass them up (in terms of the upgrade). Can't wait till they arrive. King Kong will hold me through till they do when it comes out on Tuesday.
