Much like DLP rainbow issues some see it and some dont so its most likly not a defective TV just your eyes are sensitive to this issue.

i see phosphor lag on my panny pz85u. never had a hint of it on my other sharp aquos. However i had to replace my sharp aquos because of major banding. Therefore the lag is a hell of alot better than banding.

I think it gets better over time. My dad has a 42" 5 year old Plasma and I see no Phosphor Trailing on it what so ever.
