I Decided to go pick this up at Wal-Mart A little while ago I'm Still gonna Keep my 4-Disc one too. Wal-Mart Didn't Have it out the Woman working in Electronics looked through se boxes and found it. Oh and The SlipCover is Incredible!!!!

Reading about AQ - expected this, oh well.

And yet I will probably pay the $30, regardless of the sound issues.

The audio levels for the Atmos mix for 'The Incredibles', is playing at no higher or lower level than past Disney releases on this format so far.

No disrespect intended to the other user, but this disc really is no different from the other Atmos mixes from Disney.

No doubt. You listen to Blade Runner 2049 in Atmos and it kicks your ass there and back. Disney’s tracks can’t touch this with a ten foot pole...

They are sticking to their guns wirh the audio it seems. Every new disney relesse is the same now. People complaining left right and centre yet disney does nothing. They want the audio to be like this

What's the consensus on the picture quality? Worth getting over a upscaled bluray?

I have the mondo release but was thinking of selling that. A shame about the audio but at least the old mix was good.

Only on a tiny handful of DVDs with home DTS-ES Discrete 6.1 tracks. Normally, it's 5.1 with matrixed back surround like Dolby EX.

The Haunting's DTS-ES Discrete 6.1 track is as powerful bass-wise as Inception in 5.1 and Blade Runner 2049's Atmos mix without the immersive objects and overhead layer.

Yep, and the DTS audio for Incredibles is mos def 5.1 ES matrixed, NOT discrete. I remember having an argument about it with some loon at AVF who insisted that DTS-ES matrix simply did not exist, even when I showed him the Blu-ray menu for Incredibles (it actually SAYS it's matrixed IIRC) and also the layout for the DTS-HD encoder where a matrixed option is clearly visible.
