I've just placed my pre-orders for A Raisin in the Sun and My Man Godfrey. Also, have the Heaven Can Wait pre-order for August and will probably pick up Dragon Inn, we'll see about a third film.

It’s not an issue of censorship. I’m all for the preservation of an artwork, ugly parts and all. My issue is that the animal abuse shouldn’t have happened in the first place. It was an unnecessary, cheap and horribly cruel way to be provocative.

It should be from what's been mentioned previously. But, of course, Criterion is known to delay things. Really looking forward to the new edition and restoration. Great film.

I agree 100%. Just cancelled my pre-order. And yes Im vegetarian BUT theres absolutely no reason to push a horse down a flight of stairs even if it was set to be slaughtered the next day.

That depends on the film you want. Straw Dogs has a perfect presentation, but we all know what that film is.

Personally, I'd add in Dressed to Kill, The Player, Ghost World and The New World. Have fun!

It comes out during the sale period, so I wouldn't see why it would not be 50% off from the 17th on

Sale covers any released title. The following are all out during the anticipated event period, and therefore fair game:

Dietrich & von Sternberg in Hollywood

Remember that B&N will order any title for in-store pick-up at the 50% discount. I've done this a number of times to ensure I get the extra 10% member discount, which isn't applied to online purchases.
