We haven't seen an Osbourn cover since Hell Night. They usually commission him for the bigger titles. So if they are holding on to Candyman Id assume he would be the one doing the cover. Makes me think SF is holding on to a few big titles since we haven't seen his art on a cover in a while.

Bernard Rose has confirmed that Candyman will be getting a US release, and it would appear that this will be from Arrow, since there's some thought that the US rights are now with Universal.

Agreed, this movie is screaming for a CE. Although the actors might be too big to get involved in any supplemental feature

One of my holy grails. Maybe someday, if they can get a deal with Fox.

Candyman is still on Sony Pictures site when I was looking for another film. I am sure Sony would have taken it off if they don't have it.

And given Universal’s long business with relationship with Shout, I’d be shocked if Universal didn’t offer Candyman to Shout first.

Interestingly Amazon no longer offers the title digitally saying: "Our agreements with the content provider don’t allow purchases of this title at this time." This is despite the fact that it was previously available for years. Perhaps Sony really has lost distribution rights in the US. Adding to the intrigue is that Candyman 3: Day of the Dead has also been pulled down for the same reason. The studio for Part 3 is listed as Epix. This would have previously been a Lionsgate title, so perhaps the whole trilogy was recently up for grabs. Could Arrow/Scream Factory be planning a UK Trilogy and a US release of Parts 1 & 3? Given that Scream Factory has ties to both Universal and Sony right now it's possible.

It might have been taken off for the new transfer and could be back when a new disc comes out. Amazon also says the same thing for Fright Night 2.

The only Epix I know is a film channel. I just checked and Lionsgate's shop is still selling it so who knows.

Candyman 3 is still a Lionsgate property, and probably always will be.

There are two Prime Video listings; one says Lionsgate and the other says Epix. Neither is currently available. I think Epix probably is actually the film channel, which had been a joint venture between MGM, Paramount and Lionsgate up through May 2017. I see that a couple of the Wishmaster films also have listings through Epix and we know for sure those are all with Lionsgate.

The other poster was referring to this tweet

https://twitter.com/BernardJMRose/st...87568892641280

In which some asked if the Candyman BD is also coming to the U.S. (presumably the Arrow release) & Rose answered "Yes"

Sony still owns US rights while Universal owns international.

I just met an artist who did the artwork and a handful of releases. He said he’s working on at least 8 releases by them. We got a lot coming.

Joel Robinson, but take it with a grain of salt. Said most of them would probably be announced at a big con.

Nightmare
Nightmare 2
Nightmare 3
Nightmare 4
Nightmare 5
Freddy's Dead
New Nightmare
Remake

That sure sounds right. With that said it seems unlikely that Scream Factory would commission new artwork for individual releases within a box set. My guess is that it's something else.
