I just got the DVD set ...
It would buy it for "It Came from Outer Space II" alone

I have the The Mummy: Complete Legacy Collection Blu-ray set.

The Mummy's Tomb is missing a few frames. There is a jump cut just after a cross fade to a ship at roughly the 14:55 mark. Turhan Bey is opening a crate when the jump cut occurs. I wonder if the Universal techs will do a quality check/review before they release the 30-film box set or will they just use the same Blu-ray discs as previously manufactured. I may be asking for too much?

They’ll almost certainly be old stock thrown into a box.

Maybe the jump cut was there by mistake originally and it was fixed for re-release in theaters.

There was no jump cut there originally. That's a mastering goof from the past few years.

In all seriousness, Universal (and Paramount) really need to start releasing their old USA Original Movies on DVD. I think this set is really the one one we've gotten, aside from some of their later ones.

The Companion would be my most-wanted, but Buried Alive and Strays would be high on the list as well.

They should really fix the little errors, since these will probably be the only versions available in the future.

I, myself, would like to see the next classic monsters offering, to be the Classic Sci-Fi Ultimate Collection, both, Volume one and two. This Island Earth would be great also ! I am getting old now, may not be here much longer, so, come on Universal, if you want my money, then get to it, lol.

The new set is merely gonna be the individual sets in one box set. They’re not gonna create new discs for the set.

That makes sense, make the whole movie look shittier, not just the brief parts with errors.

Man, a Mexican store near me has had the coffin set for $40 a while now and I almost bit the bullet on it, glad I held off.

Now I wonder if we'll get a localized version of this... with a lower price tag, too.

Have they released the Legacy sets in Mexico?

Any chance this boxed set hits $100 before Halloween? I'd love to buy it and sell my individual Frankenstein, Dracula, and Mummy sets plus my UK Essentials Collection all on eBay to pay for most of it.

I don't suppose they'll be releasing this 30-film collection on blu in the UK for cheaper, as they did with the 8-film Essentials Collection. Anybody have a hunch here?

You’re honestly better off keeping the sets you have and getting the individual upcoming Invisible Man and Creature sets. That’s the only new stuff this box set will be offering.

But do you think they'll be releasing the 30-film collection in a region free format in the UK like they did with the 8-film Essential collection? That could be a lot cheaper
